Pilates in pregnancy provides a great base for once your baby arrives. The strengthening, conditioning and flexibility work can all help with the birth and beyond. So why do Pilates once your baby has arrived?
Mostly, I believe, it's time for you, away from 'mummy mode' and doing something for yourself.
From a physical perspective:
* Strengthening your core
* Strengthening your pelvic floor
* Improving your balance & posture
* Reduce risk of back pain
* Relaxation & deep breathing
As a qualified practising physiotherapist, I can assess your level of risk for post pregnancy issues such as Diastasis Recti, pelvic floor muscle weakness and back pain. My Pilates teaching is aimed at your level of ability after having your baby.
By teaching you in your home, I can work around your routine (your baby's routine!) and work within your means.
As a mum of two children, I totally understand what it's like to be a new mum and my empathetic and friendly approach to helping you become strong again, is so important.

I love having the babies/children in the sessions too- who doesn't love to cuddle a baby?!
So do get in touch info@mindbodysoulpilates.com if you'd like a consultation to discuss a 1:1 or duet session (maybe with a friend/partner)
